Artisanal Majolica: Tradition Meets Innovation
Ceramiche SOFIA was born in Caltagirone, the historic capital of Sicilian ceramics. Brothers Nicola and Giuseppe Intonato carry on the heritage of traditional majolica, blending artisanal mastery, historical research, and contemporary design. Each piece is hand-shaped and hand-painted, inspired by classic Caltagirone colors and ancient Eastern techniques. Founded in 2002 in a small workshop, Ceramiche SOFIA creates unique artworks that unite tradition and modern identity.
