THE ZHAI
Chinese Crafts Creation
Zhai(宅), which means 'house' in Chinese, aims to showcase oriental aesthetic lifestyles and serve as a platform for cultural exchange. The theme for Zhai's 2025 collection is "Chinese Handcrafts", featuring products made using traditional craftsmanship from China that has been passed down for hundreds of years. These products represent a quiet luxury that is full of Eastern philosophy, and can provide inspiration for modern home decoration.

THE ZHAI|Chinese Handicrafts Showroom
This exhibition will showcase traditional, authentic crafts from the Suzhou region. We aim to use a scenography language close to that of a museum-type exhibition: a precious, poetic, legible, qualitative staging. Which is why the scenography will be contemporary rather than literal. The objects presented will be staged as if they were in a modern, urban, contemporary art gallery.
